Berhampur: Odisha Vigilance officials today raided multiple places in connection with allegation against Binoda Kumar Padhi, Superintending Engineer, R&B Circle, Berhampur, regarding possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

On the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur, sleuths of the anti-corruption agency conducted simultaneous raids at 12 places-- two residential buildings and shopping complex in Ganjam, paternal house in Ganjam, office chamber at Berhampur, farm house in Khallikote, building and shopping complex at Hillpatna, under-construction building at Ambapua, under-construction building at Pankalapalli, house of a contractor at Jai prakash Nagar, house of a contractor at Gosani Nuagaon, house of Binoda Kumar Padhi's nephew at Godavarish Nagar, residencial quarter at VIP Lane and a flat in Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar.

Till last reports came in, raids were underway and calculation of total value of the official's movable and immovable properties was yet to be completed.
