It just spontaneously stuck him during the interview that he would love to explore the character of a transgender if given an opportunity. He also said that doing a Marathi film is also in his wish list, as his roots are from Maharashtra.

When asked about the reason for not playing a cop’s role in movies for so long,  the actor said it is a serious role demanding a huge sense of responsibility and he loves to play entertaining characters more. He only agreed for ‘Darbar’ because director Murugadoss approached him with a good subject.

Rajinikanth and his entire star cast are excited about the release of the latest action thriller, which is scheduled to release worldwide on January 10 next year. The film will be released in four languages- Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi
