Suresh Balbantaray passes away

Well-known writer, theatre person and former Central Excise Superintendent Suresh Balbantray passed away on Monday at the Apollo Hospital here.

He was 59 and is survived by his wife, son and daughter.

A popular figure in the creative circles in Odisha, Balbantaray was known for his passion for theatre and literature.

Balbantray was admitted to the Apollo hospital on Sunday after he slipped in the bathroom at his residence here and sustained serious injury in his head.
