Sushant Singh death case: Rhea arrested by NCB

Mumbai: Actress and girlfriend of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Rhea Chakraborty has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau here today.

Rhea has been arrested under various sections of NDPS Act. She was being interrogated by the NCB for past three days.

She has been taken into NCB custody for her alleged involvement in drugs angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.

Rhea was taken for a medical test and produced before a magistrate through video-conferencing for remand in the evening. The court then sent her to a 14-day judicial custody after rejecting her bail plea.

The NCB had interrogated Rhea for six hours on Sunday, later on Monday for eight hours and again for around five hours on Tuesday before placing her under arrest.
