SUV hits Bol Bam devotees in Odisha’s Koraput, 4 sustain fracture

Jeypore: As many as four Bol Bam devotees sustained leg fracture and four others were injured after an SUV hit them on Jeypore-Boipariguda road in Odisha’s Koraput district late last night.

The devotees were heading towards Gupteswar Temple in the district carrying ‘holy water’ from Patraput when the vehicle hit them from backside.

The victims were initially admitted to the Jeypore sub-divisional hospital and later shifted to the Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital in the district.

Occupants of the SUV fled the spot with the vehicle after the mishap. Police have initiated efforts to trace the SUV.
