SUV rams into electric pole in Odisha; 2 dead, 7 critical

Mayurbhanj: In yet another accident, an SUV crashed into an electric pole on Baisinga-Manatri road near Khirapada in Baripada today, killing two persons and critically injuring seven others.

According to reports, a few people of Mahulpatna village, under Baisinga police limits were going to Managobindpur village in an SUV, when the vehicle lost balance and skidded off the road, colliding with an electric pole.

Locals rescued the victims and admitted them to the hospital. The police reached the spot and has begun investigation. The critically injured have been transferred to Balasore district headquarter hospital.
