However, the aggrieved wife of Taradutt, who had filed a case with the Commission alleging moral turpitude against the senior bureaucrat, appeared before it.

The Commission had served notice to the New Delhi-based woman bureaucrat for appearance in a moral turpitude case against senior IAS officer Taradutt today.

However, she did not appear before the Commission today due to unknown reasons.

“The lady against whom I had filed complaint was asked to appear before the Commission today at 11 am but she did not appear. I had also been given notice to appear before SCW and I have come. This is unnecessary delay and wastage of time,” said Indulata Das.

Indulata Das, the complainant deposed before the SCW today. The senior officer’s wife Indulata Das, a renowned educationist and researcher in Sanskrit, had alleged that he is having an affair with the woman.

The SCW officials said that they are doing the needful and will send the notice again.
