There is a bit of good news for those flying to and from the Biju Patnaik International Airport in the Odisha capital.

Very soon BPIA will open refreshment stalls and water kiosks outside the terminal for passengers. BPIA authorities have initiated steps in this direction.

“We are now planning to make available certain basic things like tea, coffee, snacks etc outside the terminal. We are in discussion with our Commercial department in this regard. We are hopeful that we will be able to provide these basic facilities in the near future,” informed Suresh Chandra Hota, Director BPIA.

Notably, relatives and friends visiting BPIA to receive or see passengers off often face difficulties in the absence of basic facilities like a tea/snacks stall outside the terminal barring a lone water kiosk.
