Teaser of movie on Patnagarh wedding gift blast out; Watch Here

Bhubaneswar: Teaser of the much-awaited bilingual movie ‘Patnagarh 23 Feb 2018’, which is based on the sensational wedding gift blast incident of Patnagarh in Odisha’s Bolangir district, has been released.

The teaser uploaded in three languages-Odia, English and Telugu, on the YouTube channel of Suntouch Productions has already grabbed eyeballs of movie lovers across the country.

Earlier titled as ‘Bullet Raja’, the movie is an investigative thriller that explores the criminal mindset of a lecturer, the mastermind of the wedding gift blast incident that killed a groom, his grandmother and left the bride critically injured on February 23. The incident had grabbed the headlines in state as well as national level for quite some time.

Popular Odia actor Manoj Mishra, an alumnus of National School of Drama (NSD), is playing the character of mastermind Punjilal Meher.

The movie also features Bollywood actor Atul Kulkarni, Yashpal Sharma, Telugu actor Thanikella Bharani, Odia television actors Chinmay Mishra and Pushpa Panda, among others.

Produced by Sridhar Martha under the banner of Range Royal Cine Lab, the movie is directed by national award-winning filmmaker Rajesh Touchriver.
