Teen couple found hanging from tree in Odisha’s Nabarangpur

Bhubaneswar: A teenage couple was found hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances in Nabarangpur district of Odisha today.

The deceased have been identified as Mohan Goud (18), son of Mali Goud and Gouri Goud (17), daughter of Jaga Goud of Bharakibhatta village under Jharigaon block in Nabarangpur district.

The couple was found hanging from a tamarind tree outside the village in the early morning. A few villagers spotted the bodies and informed their families, sources said.

“Mohan and Gouri were in a relationship for last few days. The duo was found hanging from the tree today morning. It seems that the young couple might have died by suicide. However, a proper probe will unearth the reason behind their death,” said a local.
