Teenage girl abducted, raped and filmed in Odisha

Bhawanipatna: Yet another case of sexual violence against women has been reported in Odisha.

An 18-year-old girl has allegedly been kidnapped by three miscreants and then raped her in Kalahandi district.

As per reports, the victim was abducted by three men while she was returning from a Shani temple on March 31 evening.

The accused from Bhatraguda village waylaid the girl and kidnapped her. They took her to a guava orchard where she was allegedly raped by one of the trios in an inebriated state. Even, the girl too was forced to consume alcohol. Shockingly, these acts were filmed on a smartphone.

The girl was threatened of dire consequences if she revealed it to anyone.

While the girl was tight-lipped even after six days of the incident, she revealed it to her parents after she came to know that the video has been circulated through mobile phones.

The family members of the victim filed a complaint with Junagarh police station. One Chittaranjan Guru, Sushant and Mukund have been named in the FIR.

Local police are, meanwhile, investigating into the matter.
