Vigilance officials today arrested tehsildar and additional tehsildar of Saintala block in Odisha's Balangir district for allegedly taking bribe of Rs 5,000.

The arrested officials were identified as tehsildar Anil Patnaik and additional tehsildar Rajendra Khura.

According to sources, the two officials were taking the bribe to leave a seized sand-laden truck. In the meantime, Vigilance sleuths, acting on a tip-off, conducted raid and arrested the duo.
