These places in Odisha likely to experience rainfall till Sept 13

Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm and heavy rainfall are likely to lash several districts of Odisha at least till September 13, the Regional Meteorological Centre forecasted today.

On the other hand, under the influence of likely formation of a low pressure area over west central Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh coast around September 13, rainfall activity is likely to increase over Odisha from September 12 onwards.

September 9: Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Gajapati, Ganjam, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Bargarh, Boudh, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj.

Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the district of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, and Kandhamal.

September 10: Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jharsuguda, Nuapada, and Angul.

September 11: Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Malkangiri, Koraput, Puri, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj.

September 12: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the district of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, and Nabarangpur.

September 13: Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the district of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Gajapati, Kandhamal, and Ganjam.
