Poets from all over India will immerse in the vibrant atmosphere of the festival and recite poems and exchange opinions on their favourite poets and works. Several eminent poets, spiritual leaders, mystics, thinkers, public intellectuals, performers, leading literary and film personalities are scheduled to attend the event. Mystic Kalinga Literary Awards to three writers- in Regional, English, other Indian languages category. There special poetry sessions in Odia language, Urdu and Multilanguage. Local folk artists will perform during the festival.

Mystic Kalinga, an extension of Kalinga Literary Festival, is an emerging platform of poets and performers designed to promote young mind’s participation in art, culture and creative dialogue with the past, present and future. “Literature has the potential to connect a divided society and it can transform self-centeredness to world-centeredness. Kalinga Literature Festival was launched in 2014 to celebrate this potential of the literature. Mystic Kalinga, a festival of Mythology, Music and Musings emerged out of the need to connect to people’s hearts through poems, songs, dances and meditations”, said Mystic Kalinga Director and Founder Rashmi Ranjan Parida.

As we delve into the inherent interconnections that we human beings share across societies and borders, self-imposed and even nature created boundaries become meaningless and irrelevant. This is where we begin to transcend boundaries. This year’s Mystic Kalinga will capture this ‘transcending’ as a process in its variegated variety and vivacity, said Parida.
