This new patriotic music video of Vighnanz band will make you proud as an Indian

With the country celebrating the 70th Independence Day, Vighnanz, a music band from Odisha, has released a patriotic music video as a tribute to the nation to commemorate this occasion.

The song, We are proud to be Indian–Vande Mataram is in Hindi, has been written by Saroj, directed and by Basudev Dalai, who is a B.Tech graduate and Anurag Das, a final year B.Com student. It was released yesterday on Youtube. This music video showcases the love towards one’s country, and the sacrifices made by those who fought for India’s independence such as soldiers and legendary freedom fighters.

“We have portrayed many athletes, army officers and kids in this video, because we wanted to send out a message to everyone that every Indian can make India proud. Legendary singer T-shouri has a cameo role in this video,” said Durga, the lead singer of the band.

The music track was recorded at Studio Blues and shot in and around Cuttack city. Santosh Ratha is the visual editor of this video.

The band, Vighnanz was formed in 2007 and has performed in 1000-odd shows across the country. Currently, the band has six members.
