Bhubaneswar: A schoolboy  was caught by police while trying to loot cash from an ATM kiosk located on roadside at Old Town area in Bhubaneswar.

The accused teen is a 14-year-old boy studying in Class-IX at a school in Shree Lingaraj Police Station locality in Old Bhubaneswar. Reportedly, the minor boy had learnt theft tactics on internet.

According to reports, the juvenile with an iron rod was trying to break into an ATM kiosk of United Bank of India (UBI) situated between Ravi Talkies and Sanatorium Square at around 1.40 am on Tuesday.

Source said that the minor boy had learnt how to break open ATMs by watching YouTube videos on internet.

The police personnel apprehended the boy during patrolling while he was trying to breaking into the ATM. Following arrest, he has been sent to a correctional centre in Berhampur.
