This Odisha hospital chosen for human trial of COVID-19 vaccine

Bhubaneswar: The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) today chosen 13 medical institutes including IMS and SUM Hospital located in Bhubaneswar to carry out human trial of COVID-19 vaccine.

IMS and SUM Hospital is the only medical institute selected by ICMR from Odisha to undertake trial of the coronavirus vaccine.

Worth mentioning, the National Institute of Virology of ICMR and Bharat Biotech jointly developed a vaccine to fight against the deadly COVID-19.
