Bhubaneswar: The much-awaited Indian Premier League (IPL)-2020 has already commenced and so has the urge of the fans to stay updated with the latest score during matches.

Anil Meher, a youth from Odisha's Bargarh, has been entrusted with the mammoth and responsible task of updating the digital scoreboard.

Meher, a graphics operator, is a part of the digital scorer team for the sporting extravaganza. He works with a Delhi-based company which manages the digital scoreboard of the IPL-2020.

He had been preparing for the assignment for the last 1.5 years.

Meher has also represented Bargarh district in cricket at U-16, U-19 and senior levels.
