Three arrested for kidnap, gang rape of minor girl in Ganjam
Berhampur: In a major achievement, the Kabisuryanagar police of Ganjam district arrested three persons in connection with the kidnap and gang rape of a minor girl at Polasara in the district on October 31 night.
The accused trio will be produced before court later in the day, said Ganjam SP Brijesh Kumar Ray at a press meet here today.

Meanwhile, the rape survivor is undergoing treatment at the MKCG Medical College and Hospital here.
On the fateful night, the accused trio barged into the house of the minor girl at Balichai village for a robbery and abducted her after stealing gold and other valuables from the house. The miscreants later took her to a farmland and took turns to rape her.
