Three critical in bear attack in Odisha's Keonjhar

Keonjhar: Three persons were critically injured after a bear attacked them near Naranpur High School near Keonjhar town today.

Reportedly, the wild animal had strayed into the campus of Naranpur High School last night to eat berries and stayed there throughout the night. This morning, a few villagers spotted the animal and tried to drive it away. However, the bear attacked them leaving three people injured.

Later, the injured- Bhagabata Sahu (48), Mayadhar Behera (50) and Basanta Kumar Kar (57)- were admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) for treatment.
