Baripada: Three girl students fell sick during mini-marathon held here today to promote Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup.

The sick students were admitted to the Pandit Raghunath Murmu Medical College and Hospital in Baripada.

According to reports, the three Class VI girl students of Chandua Govt High School under Kuliana block had participated in the mini-marathon. While running for the Hockey World Cup, the trio suddenly fell ill.

Earlier in the day, a participant in mini-marathon organised in Khorhda died.
