Three including 2 women killed in lightning strike in Odisha

Bhubaneswar/Balasore: Lightning strike claimed lives of three persons, including two women, in Odisha, today.

Panchanan Rana (65) of Jagannathpur village under Sadar block in Balasore district was working at a farmand when lightning struck. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctor declared him dead.

Similarly, one Lalita Bhoi died due to lightning strike at Banamalipur on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar when she was present at a farmland.

In another incident, lightning strike killed Manjulata Mallick of Matha Sahi in Tangi area of Cuttack district.
