Three minor girls drown in separate incidents in Odisha   

Bhawanipatna/Baripada:  In a tragic incident, three minor girls drowned to death in two separate incidents in Kalahandi and Mayurbhnaj districts today.

Sources said two minor girls drowned while taking bath in a pond at Kesinga village in Kalahandi district. The deceased have been identified as Namita Sahu and Rosy Sahu of Bagada village. Later, police reached the spot and began an investigation into the incident.

In a similar incident, an eight-year-old girl drowned in a pond at Mundathakura village under Rairangpur police limits in Mayurbhnaj district.

Sources said she had gone to a nearby pond to take bath and later fell into the deep water. Through she was rescued and admitted to hospital, doctors declared her brought dead.
