Three more COVID warriors succumb to virus in Odisha’s Ganjam

Ganjam: Another three COVID warriors including a woman lost their lives due to COVID-19 in Ganjam district. Official sources said K. Asanta Patra, Anganwadi Supervisor, ICDS, Sanakhemundi Block contracted the virus while discharging her duties and died today.

Similarly, Gourahari Behera, Headmaster, PUPS, Singipur, Aska Block and Golaka Nayak, Constable of Aska Police Station breathed their lasts after suffering from the virus infection.

Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange condoled the death of the three COVID warriors.

In a tweet he said, “We lost our Three Covid Warriors. Entire District Administration is with their families. We request all people in Ganjam to follow social distancing norms . By doing this you will help our covid warriors in fighting this war.”

Earlier, four COVID warriors died of the disease in the district.
