Three Odisha forest officials injured in jumbo attack

Angul: Panic gripped Kaniha area after three officials of forest department were attacked by elephants here in the district.

The injured officials were identified as Padmalochan Swain, Sharat Biswal and Gagan Sahoo. They were admitted to the Community Health Center(CHC), Khamar, for treatment.

According to reports, a herd of 15-17 elephants was found under Kaniha forest range in past few days creating panic among locals.

While no damage has been reported so far, the forest officials became victim of elephant attack.
