Three students go missing after drowning in Mahanadi in Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack, Aug 30:

Three students have gone missing after drowning in river Mahanadi at Gadagadia Ghat in Odisha’s Cuttack city today.

Reports said four students of NIFT-Bhubaneswar had gone to the river to take a bath when the mishap occurred. While three slipped into the river and were swept away by the current, one managed to save himself. The survivor informed the police about the mishap, who requisitioned the Fire Brigade.

Fire Brigade and Orissa Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF) personnel have launched search operations to rescue the missing students, reports added.
