Thunder squall, hail predicted over 15 places in Odisha

The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre has predicted thunder squall accompanied with hail over 15 places in Odisha between 3 pm and 7 pm today.

“Latest doppler weather radar and satellite imageries indicate that thunder squall accompanied with hail and gusty surface wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Rayagada, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Khurda, Angul, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak, Cuttack and Balasore between 1500 hrs ist to 1900 hrs ist,” a release of the meteorological centre said.
