Thunder squall likely at some places in Odisha

The Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre has predicted thunder squall accompanied with hail and gusty surface wind at some places in Odisha today.

“Latest doppler weather radar and satellite imageries indicate that
thunder squall accompanied with hail and gusty surface wind speed
reaching 50-60 kmph likely to occur at one or two places over the
districts of Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Balangir, Keonjhar & Jaipur from 3 pm to 7 pm today,” a release of the meteorological centre said.
