Thunderstorm alert for many parts of Odisha including Twin City

Bhubaneswar: Rain will continue to lash several parts of the state, including the Twin City today , as per the forecast of India Meteorological Department (IMD) Regional Centre here.

Issuing Yellow Warning, the MeT Centre said light to moderate rain/thunderstorm is very likely to occur over some parts of the districts like Puri, Khordha (including Bhubaneswar city), Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Balasore, Jajpur, Agul, Dhenkanal, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur and Bhadrak during next three hours.

“People are advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strike,” the weathermen cautioned
