Thunderstorm, hail forecast in 17 Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm accompanied with hail and gusty surface wind is likely to occur in 17 districts of Odisha between 10.30 pm and 11.30 pm today.

“Latest satellite imageries indicate that thunderstorm accompanied with hail and gusty surface wind speed reaching 50 to 60 kmph likely to occur over the districts of Malkangiri , Koraput, Rayagada , Gajapati, Ganjam,Kandhamal, Nabarangapur, Balangir, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Nayagargh, Khordha, Puri, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Angul and Jajpur between 10.30 pm and 11.30 pm” a bulletin issued by the local meteorological centre said.
