Thunderstorm, lightning alert for 21 districts in Odisha today

Bhubaneswar: The regional meteorological centre issued thunderstorm and lightning alert for as many as 21 districts in Odisha today.

"Moderate thunderstorm and lightning with light to moderate rainfall likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Ganjam, Gajapati, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Nayagarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Khordha including Bhubaneswar; Balangir, Deogarh, Sundargarh, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nuapada, Cuttack including Cuttack city; and Mayurbhanj," said Bhubaneswar MeT in a release.

Such weather condition may prevail in these districts between 2.00 pm and 6.00 pm today.
