Thunderstorm, lightning to lash 8 Odisha districts today

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Met Department issued thunderstorm alert for 8 districts of Odisha today.

Moderate thunderstorm and lightning is likely in parts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Koraput, Mayurbhanj and Rayagada.

Light rainfall and gusty wind at 40 kmph may also occur in these areas, as per the prediction of weathermen.

The latest weather bulletin predicts that such weather conditions are likely to prevail between 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm this afternoon.
