Thunderstorm, lightning warning for six districts in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Department today issued thunderstorm and lightning warning for six districts till 8.15 pm.

The Bhubaneswar MeT predicted lightning and thunderstorm accompanied with hail and gusty surface wind with wind speed of 50 to 60 kmph in Sundergarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Keonjhar and Angul districts.

People in these above districts have been advised to avoid venturing out and take shelter in safe place during the period.

With the nor’wester rain, the temperature will fall across Odisha. The weather condition will continue till May 4, the MeT predicted.
