Thunderstorm likely in these Odisha districts from March 15

Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha are likely to experience thunderstorm from March 15, the Regional Meteorological Centre here forecasted.

Thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal, Kendrapara, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati and Kandhamal on March 15, the Meteorological Centre predicted.

Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind reaching 40-50 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Khurda, Cuttack, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha on March 16, it said.

Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind reaching 40-50 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Gajapati, Khurda, Puri and thunderstorm with lightning very likely to occur at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha on March 17, it added.
