Thunderstorm likely to lash 14 Odisha dists

Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm and gusty wind are likely to lash as many as 14 districts of Odisha today, the Regional Meteorological Centre forecasted.

The districts likely to be affected are Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Boudh, Gajapati, Ganjam, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh and Nayagarh.

Moderate thunderstorm/lightning with light rainfall and gusty wind speed reaching 30-40 KMPH likely to occur at one or two places over these districts between 2.30 pm and 5.45 pm, the Meteorological Centre sources said.
