Thunderstorm likely to lash these Odisha dists today

Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha are likely to experience thunderstorm with lightning today, the Regional Meteorological Centre forecasted.

Thunderstorm with lightning and squall wind speed reaching 50-60 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sonepur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Balasore, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar, the Meteorological Centre said.

Thunderstorm with lightning and hailstorm very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sonepur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh and Bolangir, it said.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Kendrapara, Puri, Jagatsinghpur and Kandhamal, it added.
