Thunderstorm likely to lash these places in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm and rainfall are likely to occur over four districts of Odisha today, the Regional Meteorological Centre forecasted.

The districts likely to experience thunderstorm with lightning and light rainfall at one or two places are Kalahandi, Koraput, Rayagada and Nabarangpur.

The weather condition is likely to prevail in these areas between 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm, a bulletin of the meteorological centre said.

On the other hand, mercury across Odisha has started to soar gradually with maximum temperature at four places being recorded above 40 degree Celsius yesterday.

Maximum temperature during day time is likely to rise by 2-3 degree Celsius during next two days across Odisha, the meteorological centre predicted.
