Thunderstorm warning issued for eight districts of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre today issued thunderstorm warning for as many as eight district of Odisha.

The districts likely to be affected are Nuapada, Bargarh, Balangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Sundargarh, Ganjam and Kalahandi.

Thunderstorm with lightning and hail/intense rainfall with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 KMPH likely to occur at some places in these districts between 5 pm and 8 pm today, the Meteorological Centre forecasted.
