Bhubaneswar: Due to prevalent monsoon trough and cyclonic circulation, thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places in eleven Odisha districts during the next 24 hours. India Meteorological Department (IMD) today issued Yellow Warning in some districts for next 2 days.
In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD regional centre said, “The cyclonic circulation over north Bangladesh persists and now extends up to 7.6 Km above mean sea level tilting southwards with height.”
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Odisha. The highest maximum (day) temperature of 33.5oC was recorded at Nayagarh and the lowest minimum (night) temperature of 22.5oC was recorded at Nabarangpur in the plains of Odisha.
