Ticket distribution row: Another BJP leader quits party

Bhubaneswar: Seems like BJP National President Amit Shah’s campaign and poll manifesto for Odisha had no great effect in state unit of the party as another leader dumped it over ticket distribution ahead of the polls.

The State Working Member of Puri Krushna Chandra Panda resigned from the BJP alleging ‘sale of party tickets’ for the upcoming elections in Odisha.

He tendered his resignation to State BJP President Basant Panda citing ‘partiality’ in ticket allotment and candidates’ selection.

Panda’s resignation came on the day when Shah released party’s nine-point poll manifesto with big promises to build new Odisha. His step indicates all’s not well within the party.
