Bhubaneswar: Odisha Higher Education Department released a timeline for the entrance test for admission into two-year B.Ed, B.H.Ed and M.Ed courses for the academic session 2024-25.

According to the official notification, the Common Application Form (CAF) will be available on www.samsodisha.gov.in at 2.00 PM on May 29. The last date of applying the online CAF is June 10 (11.45 PM). The updation of graduation/equivalent marks by the applicants along with choice locking for the institutions can be made from 10.00 AM on July 15 to 11.45 PM on July 22.

The entrance test for B.Ed and B.H.Ed will be conducted on July 24. The entrance test for M.Ed course will be held on July 25.

The Higher Education Department will notify the dates for publication of entrance test scores and publication of provisional allotment of seats for different rounds later.

As per the notification, admission into 2-year B.Ed, B.H.Ed and M.Ed courses will be conducted in two phases. The phase-I admission process will consist of 4 rounds of selection. In the last round, the de-reservation of seats will be carried out in absence of the eligible applicants of a specific category. After completion of Phase-I admission, if there is vacancy, the Higher Education Department may publish the Phase-II or waiting list admission round.
