Titlagarh hottest place in Odisha at 43 degrees Celsius

Bhubaneswar: Titlagarh has climbed to the top position among hottest places in Odisha today. The southern Odisha town has recorded the highest maximum temperature of 43 degree Celsius.

As per the Regional Meteorological department, Titlagarh remained the hottest place today and as many as nine places breached the 40 mark.

While Titlagarh remained at top, Talcher boiled at 43.1 degree Celsius followed by Angul at 42.7. The other cities which crossed the 40 bar are – Sundargarh (40.0), Sambalpur (40.1), Sonepur (40.8), Jharsuguda (40.9), Bolangir (42.0), and Bhawanipatna (42.5).

On the other hand, the day temperature at Hirakud, Malkangiri and Bhubaneswar almost flirted with the 40 level mark. Hirakud recorded 39.9, Bhubaneswar 39.5 and Malkangiri 39.0.
