Tito link: Odisha CB detains 8 associates from Cuttack  

Cuttack: Intensifying its investigation into the crime network of gangster Sheik Usman Ali alias Tito, the Special Task Force (STF) of the Odisha Crime Branch detained eight persons for their alleged links with the dreaded criminal last night.

A 10-member SIT conducted simultaneous raids at various places here and detained the eight persons last night. The officials are now interrogating them on various angles. The eight accused are allegedly involved in various crimes like extortion and tender fixing.

Sources said the accused will be arrested if the allegations are proved.

Yesterday, the investigating team produced Tito before the Kendrapara SDJM Court on completion of his second phase remand.
