Tourist spots in Odisha to reopen in October

Bhubaneswar: After being closed for more than 6 months due to the COVID-19 situation, tourist spots in Odisha are all set to welcome visitors from the month of October, informed Tourism Minister Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi today.

COVID-19 norms will be strictly followed at the tourist places after the reopening, he said.

On being asked about the reopening of temples in the state, the minister said a decision in this regard will be taken by the Law Department.

On the other hand, as many as 42 ecotour destinations managed by more than 600 forest dependent community members in the state will reopen from October 1, official sources said.
