TPNODL Operations team continues maintenance activities for peak summer, strong winds during Nor’wester

Bhubaneswar: Operations team of TP Northern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPNODL) has continued the maintenance activities to prepare for peak summer and strong winds during Kalbaisakhi (Nor’wester). This includes checking and replacing cables, repairing transformers and circuit breakers and trimming trees etc, a spokesperson of the TPNODL informed today.

Often, thermal cameras are used to detect temperature anomalies, such as loose connections, faulty components and overheating.

“Even under adverse conditions, our employees and support staff try to provide uninterrupted power supply to consumers. In the face of extreme weather conditions, such as heat waves and torrential rain, the Operations team works round the clock to restore electricity,” the spokesperson said.
