TPR drops below 2% as Odisha reports 1437 new COVID-19 cases; 64 more die

Bhubaneswar: As many as 1437 fresh COVID-19 cases were detected in Odisha during the last 24 hours while a total of 74735 samples were tested in the state, yesterday. The Test Positivity Rate (TPR) for the day stood at 1.92%.

Khurda district registered highest 409 new infections, followed by Cuttack (190) and Puri (146).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in the state reached 978705 with 15858 active cases.

The Health Department also reported 64 more deaths due to COVID-19 as the toll surged to 5966.
