Traffic advisory issued for Rabana Podi in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: The Twin City Commissionerate Police has issued traffic advisory in Odisha capital in view of Rabana Podi at multiple locations in the city today.

The following traffic restrictions will be imposed in Bhubaneswar today from 4 pm to 1 am:

4 puja committees in Bhubaneswar and its outskirts permitted to perform ‘Rabana Podi’

Rabana Podi in Odisha’s Cuttack to be webcasted today

* All vehicles coming from Cuttack side towards Bhubaneswar shall be diverted from Jaydev Vihar to CRP Square via Behera Sahi Chhak, Power House Chhak, Unit-8 DAV School Chhak towards Stewarts School Chhak.

* All vehicles coming from Khurda to Bhubaneswar city shall be diverted from Kolathia Chhak towards Chandaka via Jayadev Vatika, Naka Gate, Kalinga Studio Chhak and Bharatpur Chhak.

People going to Railway Station and Airport have been advised to plan their journey accordingly keeping in view the diversions and heavy traffic during Rabana Podi.

A fine of Rs 500-Rs 100 will be imposed against the violators, police sources said.
