Traffic advisory: These main routes in Odisha capital to remain out of bounds for public

Bhubaneswar:  The Commissionerate Police today issued a traffic advisory informing that vehicles moving towards Khordha from the capital city will be diverted at Patrapada and Kalinga Vihar on NH-16 for a period of three months from today.

The diversion of traffic will be implemented for constriction of two  VUPs (Vehicular Under Pass).

Accordingly, vehicles coming from Bhubaneswar side and intending to go towards Khordha will be diverted in front of DN Regalia through service road on the RHS (Bhubaneswar- Khordha). Similarly, all vehicles moving towards Bhubaneswar from Khordha side will be diverted on service road through Kalinga Vihar Chhak on the LHS (Khordha – Bhubaneswar) terminating at near hotel Blue Heaven.

“The Project Director of NHAI, Dhenkanal has requested for diversion at Patrapada and Kalinga Vihar for a period of three months on NH-16 for construction of two VUPs. To facilitate the construction works for the benefit of the commuters, there is a need for diversion of the vehicles for free flow of traffic on the mentioned road on NH-16 and the approaching roads for safety and security of commuters as per the feasibility report submitted by ACP Traffic, Bhubaneswar,” said the notice issued by the Twin City Police Commissioner Soumendra Priyadarshi.
