Tragic: Man, wife, 6-yr-old son die as truck runs over them in Odisha

Anandpur: A trailer truck ran over a person, his wife and their six-year-old son killing all of them on NH-20 at Kolimati under Ghasipura police limits in Odisha’s Keonjhar district this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Dinabandhu Tripathy (37), Bharati (30) and their son Ayush of Suanpada village under Ramachandrapur police limits.

According to reports, the mishap took place at around 9 am while the trio was heading towards Ghatagaon on a bike to have darshan of Goddess Tarini.

A speeding trailer hit the two-wheeler and crushed them to death on the spot. Tension gripped the area following the incident as irate locals blocked the road.
