Tragic! Youth dies in tyre burst while inflating vibratory roller machine

Rourkela: In an unfortunate incident, a 21-year-old youth died when one of the tyres of a vibratory roller machine burst in Bonai area of Sundargarh district today.

The deceased has been identified as Bikram Patra, a resident of Gosara area in Bonai.

Eyewitnesses said the mishap took place when Bikram, who runs a puncture repair shop near Narendra Chhak, was inflating the vibratory roller machine’s tyres. Bikram along with two others was seriously injured in the incident.

Locals immediately rushed the injured to the Rourkela Government Hospital (RGH). Bikram succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.

After registering a case, the Bonai Police is investigating the matter.
